Fusion - Activated Carbon
For applications with lower flow rates or lower organic concentrations, Fusion Environmental can provide bulk activated carbon. Pelleted, granular, and powdered forms are available from coal and coconut materials. The activated carbon can be provided in quantities of 50 lbs, 250 lbs, 500 lbs, 1,000 lbs or via truck loads. Canisters can also be provided complete with carbon for direct changeout and disposal as needed.
Our wide range of flows and configurations allow us to meet a variety of requirements and space constraints. Standard canister designs range from flows of 250 cubic feet per minute (CFM) to 10,000 CFM and custom designs are possible to meet any requirements.
Typical activated carbon applications include:
- Soil Vapor Extraction/Groundwater Remediation
- Water treatment off-gassing
- Paint booth emissions
- Methane recovery
- Coating Systems
In those applications where bulk activated carbon use is excessive, FEC can provide on-site steam regenerable carbon/solvent recovery systems.
