Gaia - Subterranean Ecological System
GAIA, the subterranean ecological system for differentiated collection of solid urban refuse. Gaia is the new subterranean ecological system for differentiated solid urban refuse in one single structure, containing eight underground bins with a capacity of 800 liters each.
- Allows the collection of different types of refuse in one single structure.
- Reduces the environmental impact and guarantees hygiene and cleanliness.
- Allows a drastic reduction of overall costs.
- It is an effective instrument for the registration of the flux of refuse disposed of and collected.
- Conforms to the new European waste management norms and allows the Administrations to easily trace the data concerning the waste collection. This allows to switch from a taxation system to a tariff one.
- Highly reduces the volume of refuse and encourages citizens to differentiate their waste
- Reduces the frequency of bins emptying and optimizes the service costs.
- Improves the working conditions of the personnel assigned to waste collection: the emptying operations are automatic and are carried out in total safety.
- It is re-programmable in real time.
Gaia is extremely easy to use. A talking display guides the user through every phase of the collection and that assures the correct use of the system. Each machine, wherever it may be installed, is connected to the IMAN PACK eco division central unit. Gaia is completely run by a dedicated software, which guarantees functionality and security; the software in fact informs the central unit whenever one of the rubbish skips is full or in case of a breakdown. The system is also completely re-programmable in real time to face unexpected situations.
