GEA Bischoff's unique low pressure technology is especially applicable for treatment of large gas flows. This technology has been optimized for large, multiple-compartment designs, containing up to 1,150 bags at 8 meter length each which equals around 3,700 square meter filtration area per cell. Pulse air equipment required is minimal. This results in low maintenance costs and minimum initial investment.
Low pressure bagfilters are operating in the cement-, the iron and steel and in the non-ferrous metallurgical industry.
In case of changes in the upstream process or if lower clean gas dust loads are required it can become necessary to change from a dry precipitator to a bagfilter. GEA Bischoff is expert for such retrofits where fabric filter components are installed in the existing ESP casing.
