EME - Glass Cullet Preparation System
FromEME GmbH
Glass cullet preparation involves multiple phases to remove contaminants from collected glass. Initially, coarse contaminants such as stones, metal, organics, and plastics are removed manually. Following this, an automated process takes over to eliminate ferrous metal, plastic parts, paper, bottle caps, and non-ferrous metal. Oversized glass pieces are then crushed and cycled back into the system to ensure they meet the size requirements for further processing. Such a system ensures the efficient recycling of glass by maintaining high purity levels and minimizing environmental impact. It involves the integration of both manual and automated stages to optimize the purification and recycling of cullet. Most popular related searches

Foreign glass from collection bins contains contaminants like stones, metal, organics, plastic, etc. In the first phase of the process, coarse parts are removed manually. In the second phase, fe-metal, plastic parts, paper, bottle caps and NE-metal are removed by an automatic process. The oversized glass needs to be crushed and returned to the system.
