Hahnemuhle - Glass Fibre Filters with Binders

• Made of 100% borosilicate glass fibres with binders
• Glass fibre fillers capture fine particles down to 1 urn from liquids, in air, gases and aerosols with even 0.3-0.5 urn being absorbed
• The large surface area (approx. 2m`/g) provides an outstanding retention capacity
• Extremely low content in alkali-earth metals
• Chemical stability: It keeps all its proper¬ties in contact with acid solutions (except hydrofluoric acid) and basic solutions at moderate concentrations
• Stability at high temperatures: It keeps its properties up to 500 °C, and 180 °C for GF10
• High flow speed and high permeability to air
• Usable as a pre-filter for membranes to prevent the membranes from silting up (GF 9 replaces the former grade GF 92)

Weight consistency: No relevant changes in weight due to variations in the ambient humidity. Limited bonding resistance. Brushing against other surfaces may cause the loss ot fibres (keep the filters in their original box until their use).
