GX Filtration - High-Efficiency Lauter Tun False Bottoms

A Lauter Tun False Bottom is the foundation of a successful mashing process. Our false bottoms utilize V-wire (wedge wire) technology, which provides a significantly higher open area compared to traditional milled or perforated plates. This results in faster lautering times and clearer wort.

  • Precision Slotting: Standard 0.7mm to 1.0mm slots to retain fine grains while allowing maximum wort flow.
  • No Clogging: The V-shaped profile ensures only two-point contact with husks, preventing "blind" spots.
  • Heavy-Duty Build: Reinforced to handle the weight of deep grain beds and high-pressure differentials.
