Biotools - Model 1U/µl -High-Fidelity DNA Polymerase

High-fidelity DNA Polymerase from Pyrococcus furiosus, cloned in E.coli. with proofreading (3`-5` exonuclease) activity and a reduced error rate (10-fold lower than standard Taq DNA Polymerases). 

Biotools Pfu DNA Polymerase generates blunt-ended amplification products, enabling their cloning into blunt-ended vectors. 

It is suitable for applications including:

• Cloning 
• Mutagenesis
• Achieving greater fidelity than with Taq DNA polymerase
• Amplifying fragments of up to 5 kb

Biotools Pfu DNA Polymerase is supplied with the choice of 10 X Standard Reaction Buffer including 2 mM MgCl₂ or a reaction buffer without MgCl₂ (10 X Reaction Buffer MgCl₂ Free) plus a separate tube of MgCl₂ for optimising the magnesium concentration.
