Chirascan - Model CHIRASCAN V100 -High-Performance Circular Dichroism Spectrometer
The Chirascan V100 circular dichroism (CD) spectrometer is designed for the precise and sensitive study of chiral molecules of various types and sizes. This instrument enhances the quality of CD analysis, generating high-quality data essential for a deeper understanding of biomolecular characteristics, mechanisms, and interactions. The Chirascan V100 enables the determination of structural and thermodynamic properties beyond simple α-helix and β-sheet structures. It offers the highest sensitivity and accuracy, providing insights into secondary and tertiary structure changes in response to thermal or chemical variations and studying folding and unfolding mechanisms. The system's avalanche photodiode detector improves sensitivity, surpassing conventional photomultiplier tube detectors with a higher signal-to-noise ratio. An optics-based, multiwavelength calibration method corrects calibration at every wavelength, overcoming the limitations of traditional chemical calibration methods. Researchers using this system can rely on accurate CD values across the entire wavelength range, facilitating advanced and reliable biomolecular research.
Suitable for studying chiral molecules of all types and sizes, the sensitivity and accuracy of a Chirascan V100 circular dichroism spectrometer ensure that researchers get the most from every CD analysis, generating high-quality data that contribute to a deeper understanding of biomolecular characteristics, mechanisms, and interactions.
