V&T FiltomatModel 102C-110P -High-Pressure Rinse Controller for Fine Screen Water Filtration System

SHARE

Water is filtered through the fine screen (1) to outlet (2). As dirt accumulates on inner face of fine screen, pressure differential builds up. At a preset level, the rinse controller (3) opens flushing valve (4), creating a strong backflush stream to atmosphere. This backflush creates a suction effect at nozzles (5), cleaning the face of the fine screen directly in front of nozzle openings. Backflush water now flows through collector pipe (6), via hydraulic rotor (7) to flushing valve, causing the dirt collector assembly (8) to spin. Pressure drop in rotor chamber (9) forces the collector assembly upward.

The combined spin and upward movements ensure that the suction nozzles sweep the entire screen area. The special design of the nozzle creates an additional stream that also cleans the back side of the screen. When flushing is completed, a second flushing cycle is automatically triggered, pushing the collector assembly downwards to its original position. the combined flush cycle takes 6-10 seconds.

Water enters the filter through the inlet (1) and is pre-filtered through the coarse screen (3) and then is filtered through the fine screen (4). From there it passes to the outlet (2). As dirt accumulates on inner face of the fine screen, pressure differential builds up. At a preset level, the rinse controller (12) opens flushing valve (9), creating a strong backflush stream through the drainage (11) to the atmosphere. This backflush creates a suction effect at nozzles (6), cleaning the face of the fine screen directly in front of the nozzle openings.

Backflush water now flows through collector pipe (7) via hydraulic rotor (8) to flushing valve, causing the dirt collector assembly (7) to spin. Pressure drop in rotor assembly (5) and drainage of piston (10) forces the collector assembly into axial movement.

The combined spin and axial movements ensure that the suction nozzles sweep the entire screen area. When flushing is completed, a second flusing cycle is automatically triggered, pushing the collector assembly to its original position. The combined flush cycle takes 10-15 seconds.
