Paul-N-Gardner - Holiday Detector

The inspection electrode consists of a 6" x 3.5" x 2" inch cellulose sponge which, when dampened with water, is moved over the coated surface. When the electrode passes a void or bare spot, a small current flows and actuates an audible signal in the instrument. The damp sponge provides an electrically conductive film that contacts the surface being inspected and insures good inspection even in corners and around irregular shapes where holidays are most likely to occur.

The original design of the M/1 has been greatly improved. New features include regulated inspection voltage, instant calibration verification, and a new six cell battery pack using AA size batteries available anywhere. Housed in a tough ABS plastic instrument case, the M/1 is warranted against all defects for 90 days, parts and labor. For high noise environments, comfortable headphones are offered as an option. A phone jack is provided for headphones.
