The hopper is used to evenly feed small to medium sized products into the process. The feeding is done through a vibrating table. By using a vibrating table which is closed to the environment, pieces are prevented from falling on the floor and the complete hopper content effectively ends up into the process stream.

The vibrating table and input funnel are completely covered with wear plates in order to reduce wear to the machine. Since the hopper contains few moving parts, the maintenance cost remains limited.
The hopper can be equipped with a finger screen to remove oversized parts while feeding.
