Eurofill - Model Europad -Humidifying Pack Used Humidification Section of Air Handling Unit
The humidifying pack is used as humidification section of air handling units and in adiabatic coolers. It is made of absorbent cellulose sheets impregnated of resin that as well as contributing to its consistency and self carrying capacity, protect it from decomposition and inhibit the formation of mould. The pack is made of corrugated cellulose sheets, crossed and glued together with non toxic adhesive, without phenolic resins.
This pack conformation determinate a great exchange surface between the air and water and an elevated efficiency.
The working principle is simple, and consists in wetting the entire panel with a suitable distribution system, in order to prevent dry zones that would reduce the efficiency. The air that pass through the panel is humidified and refreshed (the result depends on the exercise conditions).
The fundamental characteristics of the Europad humidifying pack are:
- Elevated efficiency
- Low air pressure drop
- Low exercise costs
- Little installation time
To obtain a good efficiency and suitable health conditions it is advisable a periodic control of the humidifying section. If the Humidification section is taller than 2,0 m, it is possible that the lowest part of the section remains dry. Therefore we suggest, for large humidification sections, to plan an intermediate water distribution system.
- The packs conformation determinate a great exchange surface between the air and water and an elevated efficiency.
- The form and the amplitude of the corrugations render much slower the blockage of the packing by deposition and scaling and facilitate its inspection for periodic checks.
- The absence of resins from the manufacture of the panels ensures the absence of related odours.
