The ICE STORM DNV 2.7-1 Offshore Reefer Container by ICEWAVE is a specialized refrigerated container designed for the global offshore oil and gas industry. Integrated with advanced microprocessor controllers and solid-state electronics, it precisely maintains optimal temperatures ranging from -30°C to +20°C with humidity control, ensuring a high level of uniformity for cargo. Its base is constructed from corrugated steel and aluminum, and the walls are made of durable polypropylene, reducing the risk of insulation delamination. The container employs patented, eco-friendly foam insulation that minimizes CO2 emissions and meets environmental regulations. Certified to EN12079 and DNV 2.7-1 standards, it provides robust protection against challenging offshore conditions, making it ideal for perishable goods such as avocados and bananas. The container also features a data logger for monitoring critical conditions and enhancing food safety by extending the shelf life of produce during transit.

The base frame is composed of corrugation type steel base frame and section aluminum floor rail with Insulation. The T-bor floor is made of aluminum and designed to optimize the airflow in the container. The new generation of the container side lining panels (walls) are made of polypropylene material. This material ensures maximum strength, with reduced risk of foam delamination. The insulation material used in the reefer container is patented environment-friendly foam Insulation , meeting tomorrows environmental requirements .
