IGI - Model IG 2102 -Centre Hole Load Cell
These are rugged and compact sensors used to measure loads in tiebacks, rockbolts, struts or tunnel supports. These are designed to meet the demands of the severe and adverse environmental conditions usually associated with construction or mining activities. To monitor tensile load, the load cell assembly has an annular configuration to enable the passage of anchor through it. To monitor compressive load, the load cell is provided with integral solid centre platens mounted on the end faces of the load sensing element. The load cells have three or six vibrating wire sensors to nullify the effect of eccentricity and an average of the readings of all gauges is equal to the applied load.
