Ikeuchi - Model AKIMist -Portable Revolutionary Dry Fog Humidification System
AKIMist is a revolutionary dry fog humidification system designed to provide precise humidity control with droplets around 7.5 µm, ensuring no surface wetting.
The portable version of AKIMist® is ideal for humidifying in a small, focused area, or when installing for a limited period of time. A professional installation is not required and it is possible to use immediately by simply connecting the compressed air supply.

The AKIMist® technology is built around an atomizing unit which combines water, compressed air and ultrasonic waves. Two separate orifices spray out atomized droplets which collide in the center. Simultaneously they generate ultrasonic waves to further atomize the droplets and homogenize their size into less than 10 µm – dry fog.
Where can AKIMist be applied?
The portable AKIMist® is used in a number of industries from printing and electronics to textile and greenhouses. The portable version is ideal for a smaller company with a limited production area, or to be moved around to different stages of a manufacturing process.

Energy-efficient 80% less
AKIMist is extremely energy-efficient and uses up to 80% less energy than conventional humidification systems.
Cooling effect
AKIMist cools around 2°C while controlling the humidity level. It reduces 20% of the energy used for air-conditioning and thereby saves cost.
Spot humidification
AKIMist can be used for spot humidification and be placed directly by the source of issue. This reduces the price significantly as only a few units may be needed.
Installation and maintenance
Little maintenance
AKIMist requires very little maintenance compared to other humidification equipment. In addition, it is very easy to maintain as it is installed within the factory and hanging from the ceiling or wall.
Easy installation
AKIMist is easy to install and can be fitted into any current HVAC design. AKIMist can be installed with a wall or ceiling fitting or
even as a portable option.
Compact
AKIMist is very compact. Like the size of a 5 inch smartphone. This makes it easy to fit into tight factory spaces.
