Aqua Logic - Model Delta Star -In-Line Water-Cooled Chillers
Delta Star in-line water-cooled chillers with low profile, compact design allows for easy placement in tight, confined spaces where restricted air flow may damage chiller. With a broad range of capacities available, they utilize an in-line custom heat exchanger barrel with a robust titanium helical coil for maximum heat transfer efficiency.
Water-cooled chillers are the best choice when air-cooled versions are not practical due to the amount of heat rejection to the indoor ambient, or when the distance to exterior walls makes plumbing routing difficult. Water-cooled chillers can tie into the cold-water loop, a cooling tower or city water to reject system heat.
Typical applications include process cooling, cold plunge, animal hydrotherapy, living exhibits, research, lobster and seafood holding tanks, hydroponics, aquariums, food and beverage, pharmaceuticals, and more.
- Water-cooled condensing in coaxial (DS-3-WC → DS-9-WC) or brazed plate design (DS-10-WC).
- In-line PVC tube in shell with titanium heat exchanger coil
- Electronic temperature controller
- Black ABS cover for DS-3-WC → DS-9-WC, stainless steel cover for DS-10-WC
- Standard water temperature range → 65° – 85°F
- Cold water option available (CWCT option) with temperature range 50° – 65°
- Wide temperature range option 40° – 80°F requires a thermostatic expansion valve.
- An external pump is required to move water through the heat exchanger. Pumps are not included.
