  • Pressurised reaction cell: The 24 ml cell can be pressurised to 2800 psi and heated to 200 °C. It features a cooling jacket and has 1/8th inch Swagelok fittings for in-flow of reactants.
  • Resistant materials: The In-Situ reaction chamber can be manufactured from Stainless-Steel or Haselloy, depending on the application. The monolithic diamond ATR crystal is robust and chemically resistant.
  • Optional stirring device: A motorised variable speed stirrer with sapphire shaft and integrated pressure cap is available as an option.

  • ATR crystal : Monolithic diamond
  • Crystal sealing : The diamond is sealed with a metal braze into a tungsten puck.
  • Angle of incidence : 45o
  • Spectral range : ZnSe lenses 5000-700 cm-1 KRS-5 lenses 6500-400 cm-1
  • Temperature range : Ambient to 200 oC
  • Pressure range : Ambient to 2800 psi
  • Fittings : 1/8th Swagelok
  • Cell material : Stainless-Steel or Hastelloy

Focusing optics The Golden Gate uses focusing lenses to achieve a tightly focused beam on the diamond ATR crystal. The standard lens material is ZnSe but KRS-5 lenses are also available as an option where access to the lower wavenumber region of the spectrum is required.
