Allegheny - Model 16-Series -Industrial High-Capacity Shredders

Heavy-duty, industrial shredding of a wide range of confidential materials. Concept: Allegheny’s 16-Series bridges the gap between an office paper shredder and an industrial shredder. Designed for those who have outgrown their office shredder, yet have limited space, the 16-Series Shredder offers versatile destruction of wastebasket contents, thick reports, computer printouts, microfiche, cassettes, CDs and DVDs. The 16-Series is designed for a single operator. Installing an 880 Tipper for this industrial shredder will increase your throughput capacity and ease strain on your operators, and an output conveyor and baler can easily be added for maximum productivity and to reap profits from recycling your shredded paper.
Many banks and hospitals use the Allegheny 16-Series Industrial Shredder in a centralized location to handle destruction of materials from multiple floors or departments. The 16-Series can also be mounted in a mobile truck with a complete turnkey system, to enable you to launch a contract shredding service.
The 16-Series comprises two models, 16-75C and 16-150C; two different horsepower motors are available for each model. The 16-75C model is available in a cross-cut version for maximum security of your confidential information.

Used with a loading cart or security container, the Allegheny 880 Tipper offers an efficient way to load materials onto your shredder’s input conveyor. This increases the volume of throughput to be shredded and minimizes operator fatigue and strain. - Output Conveyors
