Mixing is the process of dynamically equalizing the concentration, density and other physicochemical properties of substrates. The selection of an appropriate mixing system depends on the properties of the substance and the process conditions in which the device is to operate.
In order to design a mixer properly, the following information is needed: substrate and product properties (e.g. viscosity; density; product profile – cosmetic, pharmaceutical, food, chemical; chemical aggressiveness), volume of one batch, process parameters, manufacturing method, mixer standard and many others. Our engineers select the type and quantity of mixers for a specific application to achieve the desired efficiency and product quality. Depending on the needs, the mixer can be operated manually or be fully automatic. The control system is tailored to the customer’s expectations. It can be based on manual start of the units or selection of a specific program, which will switch on the units at the right time and carry out programmed procedures. Each mixer project is developed in close cooperation with the customer to ensure the best possible match to process needs. Due to our own design and process facilities, we are able to respond to the most sublime expectations and requirements of modern technological processes.
Some mixers should be produced in a hygienic standard, which requires proper realization. The principles of designing and manufacturing hygienic devices are defined by the Good Manufacturing Practice.These principles include, for example, a sufficiently low degree of surface roughness, the absence of gaps and dead zones, the use of appropriate types of connections and valves, the possibility of carrying out a CIP cleaning procedure, etc.
