SIMATIC - Model ET 200eco PN -IO System
The SIMATIC ET 200eco PN is a compact block IO with PROFINET connection in IP 65/67 degree of protection for cabinet-free installation directly on the machine. Thanks to its fully-sealed zinc die-cast housing, the ET 200eco PN is mechanically very rugged and resistant to vibrations, dust, oil, or humidity. ET 200eco PN is the seamless supplement for applications with a high degree of protection in addition to the modular ET 200pro I/O family.

With its fully-sealed zinc die-cast housing, the ET 200eco PN allows operation at an ambient temperature range from -40 °C to 60 °C and a vibration strength of 20 g.
The modules can be mounted head-on or rotated 90 degrees to the side.The PROFINET connection with a 2-port switch is integrated into every module.
The SIMATIC ET 200eco PN can be flexibly expanded via PROFINET and supports both star and line topologies within a system. Furthermore, it enables users to profit from an integrated diagnostics concept and from the high performance of PROFINET. In addition an I/O Link master module is available.
The sensors and actuators, as well as power and bus are connected via the rugged M12 connection system.
The ET 200eco PN is available with two different enclosure designs:- Modules with 4 x M12 connection in a long and narrow design (30 x 200 x 37 mm)
- Modules with 8 x M12 connection in a short and wide design (60 x 175 x 37 mm)
