Kenway manufactures proprietary fiberglass dampers also known as FRP dampers. We provide FRP flow control dampers and FRP isolation dampers for a wide range of industrial and commercial applications. Manual and mechanical actuator systems are available.
Manufacturing FRP Dampers
We manufacture our fiberglass dampers with the best corrosion resistant ECR glass and fire-retardant vinyl ester resins available. The mechanical components for the damper are available in FRP and metallics such as 316L, Titanium, and Hastelloy. We supply our FRP damper shaft seals and seats in any material suitable for a specific service. The materials available range from simple EPDM or silicone up through virgin PTFE and other specialty products.
FRP Damper Mounting Design
The FRP damper mounting design can be matched to customer specifications including full face, backup ring (Vanstone) or plain ended. We manufacture our dampers in sizes ranging from 2ӯ through 48ӯ. However, we can make larger dampers when necessary.
