GPStool is a kit for the collection, inactivation, transport and storage of stool samples for subsequent nucleic acid purification. One of its key advantages lies in the use of our patented buffer, which allows the transport of stabilized DNA or RNA at room temperature without the need for refrigeration. The stabilizing solution effectively inactivates viruses and non-sporulated bacteria. As a result, the collected samples are rendered non-infectious, ensuring safe handling and shipping. This buffer is included in a collection tube with a spoon to facilitate the collection of the stool sample.
