Komax - Model ACD -Automatic Conductor Detector System
The ACD incision monitoring system automatically detects the smallest contact between the blade and conductor strands for flawless crimp results and the highest requirements. Miniaturization and new technologies are placing increasingly stringent demands on wire processing. To meet these demands, the Automatic Conductor Detector (ACD) system — integrated into the blade holder of all standard stripping blades — instantly detects contact of the blades with the wires. The standard operating range covers cross-sections from 0.13 to 6 mm². Parameters are set directly on the machine and applied automatically to any desired wire length, whether for full or partial stripping. Faulty wires can be automatically sorted out. ACD ensures consistent quality, eliminates time-consuming inspections, and improves cost efficiency. On newer machines, the system can be upgraded to Adaptive Incision Control (AIC), which further reduces scrap and minimizes operator influence.
Upgrade to AIC for even more Precision
On newer machines like the Alpha 550 G2, you can update to the Adaptive Incision Control (AIC) system. It significantly reduces scrap and minimizes operator influence.
