Komax Optima - Automated Wire Cutting and Identification System
The Optima series automates processes such as wire cutting, laser marking, sleeving, shrinking and labeling with precision, enhancing productivity and quality in aerospace and industrial sectors. The Optima is a versatile wire cutting and identification system that caters to both high volume and serial production, as well as high-mix low volume productions, providing a scalable solution to meet market demands. With fully controlled processes, the Optima promises high quality, eliminating the need for manual operations like labeling and sleeving, which are now fully repetitive and completely operator independent. The Optima can also integrate a laser wire marking module that provides a safe, permanent, high contrast identification on all cables guaranteed “UV-markable”, such as single or multi-wire twisted and jacketed cables.
Komax Zeta - Model 620 - Compact, Fully Automatic Wire Processing Machine
The Zeta 620 assembly machine provides wires on two process models fully equipped for control cabinet construction – including labeling and terminals. Manual processes take time and require properly trained personnel. The Zeta 620 wire processing machine simplifies the wire assembly process. It produces complete parts lists fully automatically and sorts and labels the cables so that they only need to be laid in the control cabinet. With modules, the process is adapted to your needs and up to 24 cable types and up to seven different ferrules are processed without changeover. The processing parameters are converted with TopConvert and sent directly to the machine at the Komax interface WPCS. This also eliminates the need to program articles manually.
Komax Zeta - Model 630 - Wire Processing Machine
The Zeta 630 increases productivity in control cabinet construction with two process modules from batch size 1 and with up to 36 different wires in the wire changer. The wide variability of control cabinet construction requires many materials such as wire types, terminals or ferrules. The Zeta 630 allows just-in-time processing in batch or sequence production of various wires for cabinet building without changeover – thanks to the automatic wiref changer with 36 positions, the CM 1/5 GS module for five different ferrules and the CM Duo for 4 mm² / 6 mm² sleeves. With the three special blade pairs, cross sections of 0.22 to 6 mm² can be perfectly processed in sequence. The processing parameters are converted via TopConvert and sent automatically by the Komax WPCS interface directly to the machine without any manual programming effort.
Komax Zeta - Model 640 - Wire Processing Machine
Thanks to their five (Zeta 640) or eight (Zeta 650) process modules, Zeta 640/650 can process up to 36 wires without changeover, from batch size 1 and just-in-time. The Zeta machines assemble the required cables fully automatically on five (Zeta 640) or eight (Zeta 650) process modules from A to Z. The wire bundles are either already tied up or sorted in the correct order and prepared for further processing. This greatly simplifies and speeds up installation in the control cabinet and logistics. The data for the processing parameters can be easily converted with TopConvert via data export from any system and sent directly to the machine at the Komax interface WPCS. This means that the manual programming of articles on the machine is no longer necessary for all automated tasks already accepted. Feeding and subsequent processing are therefore error-free and highly efficient.

Komax Omega - Model 740/750 - Wire Harnesses Assembly Machine
The Omega 740/750 wire assembly machine can be used to produce wire harnesses of various complexity and to equip them with terminal housings on one or both sides. Depending on the design, five (Omega 740) or eight (Omega 750) modules can be installed. This means that autonomous wire harnesses can be created in a short production time. The Omega series is manufactured for automated wire harness production. Regardless of the operator, the quality of the end product is ensured: A high-precision force sensor monitors the insertion process of up to 36 different wires and the precise locking of the terminal part in the housing. The individual parameters are automatically compared. Supported by a spindle drive, even the smallest components are loaded that could hardly be connected in by hand. The optionally available ACD incision monitoring additionally ensures quality.
Komax Omega - Model 745 - Fully Automatic Conveyor Wire Processing System
In contrast to Omega 740/750, the Omega 745/755 machines are also equipped with a fully automatic conveyor system for depositing the wire harnesses. As with all models in the Omega series, automatic wire assembly can be individually adapted with the Omega 745/755. The machines differ only in the number of modules (five module options for the Omega 745 and eight for the Omega 755). Subsequent processes can also be integrated thanks to the conveyor system already available from the factory. Thanks to the elimination of manual steps and precise processing technology, these fully automatic wire processing machines are the answer to high demands, constantly evolving requirements and continuous miniaturization. This ensures long-term cost-effectiveness and quality independent of the operator.

Komax Omega - Model 740 S - Wire Assembly Machine
The Omega 740 S/750 S wire assembly machine is particularly efficient with a speed of 1.2 s per insertion when inserting on both sides. Compared to the Omega 740/750, the Omega 740 S/750 S is equipped with a second insertion head and can therefore also be equipped with six (Omega 740 S) or ten (Omega 750 S) modules in order to achieve the best results for specific applications and be adapted to the desired assembly process. The further development of the S series enables even shorter lead times and is therefore more economical. Processing is possible for wire cross-sections of 0.13– 1.5mm² (AWG 26–16). Feeding also takes place via a carousel with pallets, which also enables the insertion of miniaturized components. The wire assembly machine offers continuous, operator-independent quality.
