Komax - Model C1380 -Fully Automatic Crimp Module for Wire Processing Machine
The C1380 crimp module for the fully automatic Alpha 560 wire processing machine enables the crimping process for particularly wide wire cross sections from 2.5 to 16 mm². With a wide processing range of large conductor cross sections and a high crimp force of up to 50 kN, the C1380 is versatile in the heavy-duty sector: The crimp module enables precise and powerful processing for solid grounding cables, battery cables or other thick conductors with demanding terminals. Fully integrated CFA+/CFA crimp force monitoring as standard results in minimal waste. Wire positioning directly on the module and the inching speed reduce the time required for setup, changeover and sampling. This ensures continuous high productivity, reproducibility and quality. The entire crimping process can be controlled easily and precisely via the HMI with user guidance.

With a maximum crimping force of 50 kN, even complex terminals up to 55mm in length can be easily processed in a reproducible manner.
The precise crimp applicator fixture with the integrated CFA sensor ensures high production quality. CFA+/CFA crimp force monitoring reduces waste to a minimum.
