A Lamella Clarifier (LC) plant, also known as an inclined plate settler or inclined plate clarifier, is a type of water treatment equipment used for the separation and removal of suspended solids from water or wastewater. The lamella clarifier employs a series of inclined plates or tubes to increase the settling area and enhance the sedimentation process. ABCO Water’s Lamella Clarifier (LC) plants are used for reducing high levels of Total Suspended Solids (TSS) and turbidity. LC plants can be either stand-alone or as part of a complete treatment system as pre or post treatment to other technologies. Lamella Clarifiers are widely used in all industries due to their efficiency in solids removal, compact footprint, and ease of operation.
