The PICUS DUO from Refined Laser Systems is a sophisticated laser source designed for multicolor Coherent Anti-Stokes Raman Scattering (CARS) and Stimulated Raman Scattering (SRS) imaging applications. It features an all-fiber design that negates the need for water cooling or an isolated table, providing a compact and efficient solution. The system is fully computer-controlled, offering rapid tuning capabilities coupled with a broad tuning range. The OEM variant, tailored for seamless integration, fits into a standard 19-inch enclosure and supports flexible pulse delivery away from the optical table. The built-in electro-optic modulator (EOM) facilitates seamless amplitude modulation of the pump output, enhancing its utility in SRS imaging applications. With noise performance at a relative intensity noise (RIN) of -157 dBc/Hz, the PICUS DUO competes with solid-state Optical Parametric Oscillators (OPOs) while offering added advantages of fiber technology.
