Floodline - Model HLD -Leak Detection Hybrid Leak Detection System
Award-winning Floodline® HLD – the control panel that takes leak detection to a whole new level. The next generation, hybrid, multi-detector monitoring system. Unique, state-of-the-art leak detection and environmental monitoring system, the Floodline® HLD control panel is a true hybrid, the only system that is able to accept input alarms and provide detailed data from water, multi-gas and oil leak sensors as well as temperature and humidity sensors simultaneously.
Floodline® HLD can monitor from 4 to 128 zones using resistance-based sensors and from 8 to 224 zones using Modbus-enabled sensors. A zone can be anthing from a single point to multiple sensors for all types of leak detection and monitoring as well as distance measuring systems up to 1500 metres.
The system is designed for medium to large installations. Floodline® HLD operates the full network of leak detection cables and sensors from a single, wall-mounted control panel and comes packed with the latest technology and enhanced installer and end-user functionality.
Floodline® HLD is a truly multifunctional and customisable leak detection and environmental monitoring control panel
The large 8-inch LED touchscreen provides a full overview of the system with embedded maps of a building or protected areas accurately pinpointing the precise location and nature of any alarm activation. Because all zones are isolated from each other, in the event of an alarm activation or maintenance work, those zones unaffected will continue to provide full leak detection monitoring.
The Floodline® HLD control panel also allows the sensitivity of each zone to be adjusted, via the touchscreen set-up, to take into account the environment and working conditions for that zone, significantly reducing the risk of false alarms.
The system can be set up with up to six languages: English, French, German, Italian, Polish and Dutch.
Floodline® HLD can be configured to accept a volt-free contact input for connection to third-party sensors.
There is also the option to monitor other remote site activities such as oil storage data.
- Monitors from 4 to 128 zones using resistance-based sensors
- Plus from 8 to 224 zones using Modbus-enabled sensors
- Can monitor water, oil, gas, temperature and humidity sensors simultaneously
- In the event of a leak can activate solenoid valves to automatically shut off water, oil or gas supply as required, in any single or group of zones
- Allows the sensitivity of each zone to be adjusted to recognise its individual requirements – all via the touchscreen setup
- Full hybrid simultaneous monitoring of traditional zonal and distance measuring leak detection systems
- Digital panel with large 8-inch LED touchscreen
- Embedded map of monitored areas pinpoints location of any alarm activation
- Modbus or volt-free contact connection to BMS
- Onward communication capabilities include Modbus, Ethernet, email and SMS
Zone Sensitivity
Each traditional zone input sensitivity can be configured individually. The temperature and humidity sensor can be configured for four separate alarm levels.
Communications
- Modbus over RS485 and TCP/IP
- Alarm alerts via email
- Alarm alerts via mobile network
- Ethernet connection
- Relay Outputs:
- Complete Power Failure (SPCP 240Vac 5 Amp)
- Mains Failure (SPC0 240Vac 5 Amp)
- System Failure (SPCO 240Vac 5 Amp)
- Zone Fault (open/short circuit) (SPCO 240Vac 5 Amp)
- Leak Detected (SPCO 240Vac 5 Amp)
Data Logging
There are two types of data logged by the system:
- Events Data Logging – last 500 alarm/system events with date and time
- Traditional Zone Data Logging – each zone’s input levels are recorded every 5 minutes over 7 days on a FIFO basis
