AWT - Model PLOAD100 -Low PIM Load / Termination 100W for Test and Measurement
AWT’s PLOAD100 low PIM loads / terminations have been designed with demanding test and measurement (T&M) applications in mind. These ultra low PIM loads are well trusted by customers worldwide, who use them in their laboratories and manufacturing lines. Our 100W loads offer excellent PIM ratings better than -165dBc @ 2x43dBm (PLOAD100 / PLOAD100-38). They come with DIN 7/16 (m) connector and offer a carrying handle for convenience.

Reliable Test and Measurement (T&M) equipment is paramount when testing modern telecommunications components. Only highest quality loads support accurate measurements.
Forced air cooling is available with our PLOAD100-F type low PIM loads / terminations. This is beneficial for reducing the operating temperature of the loads, especially when using the loads for long periods in a production environment. Cooler loads have also positive effects on their PIM behavior. Every material expands with higher temperatures, so does the cable used in loads. Expansion means change of the structural geometry. Keeping loads cool means much more stable geometry. Furthermore, hot connectors may change their contact pressure and with that, could slightly influence their PIM behavior as well. While our standard loads were already highly appreciated by customers all over the world, the forced air cooling types are performing even better. the graph below shows how temperature influences PIM behavior.
