LUMINOR - Model Blackcomb 4.0 -Residential UV Water Disinfection
LUMINOR`s Blackcomb4.0 is the mainstay of the residential product offering. Simplicity and ease of operation were the fundamental design criteria in the creation of Blackcomb. Rugged 304 stainless steel, single-end reactors, designed & manufactured to ASME pressure vessel standards allow for easy lamp change without the need to drain the reactor chamber as in competitive systems. A bayonet style lamp connector allows for easy lamp change without the need for additional tools. Reliable, industry proven, high quality low pressure (LP) coated UV lamps are used offering a consistent output over their 9,000 hour life. The Blackcomb controller houses a constant current electronic power source with both audible and visual lamp failure indicators all in a splash-proof case. Flow rates of 10, 20, 40 & 80 lpm (3, 6, 10 & 20 gpm), in both 120V or 230V applications, are offered in the Blackcomb4.0 series of products.
If you are unsure of the microbiological quality of your source water or if you are looking for additional security from your municipal water source, then LUMINOR has the solution in the BLACKCOMB4.0 series of residential UV systems.
UV technology is proven to control microbiological (bacteria & virus) issues in water including E.coli, Cryptosporidium and Giardia lamblia.
Designed for easy do-it-yourself installation, a BLACKCOMB4.0 system can be installed on a single tap, or for even greater protection of the home’s drinking water, installed at the point-of-entry, thereby treating all the water coming into the home!
