Mac - Model 106 -Baling Press
MAC 106 baler series has been designed to process medium volumes of a wide range of recyclable material. High production and efficient operation due to the speed of the compaction cylinder and the efficiency of the Macpresse serrated cutting system make the Mac 106 the ideal choice for many applications.
Similar in many ways to the Mac 105, but with some notable differences. The loading hopper is wider on the Mac 106 than on models of a comparable size, improving both ease and speed of loading. The bales are produced “on their side” compared to traditional baling presses. This flatter bale being 750mm high x 1100mm wide rather than the more common 1100mm high x 750mm wide has a number of advantages. A major benefit of the mac 106 bale is cost saving a 750mm high bale can be tied securely with 4 wires an 1100mm high bale needs 5. Over the life of the machine the cost of consumables will outweigh the original cost of purchasing the machine. A 20% reduction in baling wire usage, and therefore a 20% saving in cost will give users of the Mac 106 a competitive advantage over those using more baling wire.
