The Model 8001 Canister Sampler is a self-contained air sampling instrument that has been designed to collect air samples into canisters for specified periods. The flow rates into the canisters are regulated using electronic mass flow controllers. A single board internal computer with a color touch screen display provides flexible scheduling, error checking, and data logging capabilities. The sampler can be configured for either sub-ambient or pressurized canister sampling as well as simultaneous collocated sampling of canisters using independent mass flow controllers. Multi-port expansion units can be added to increase the number of canister samples.
