MAPIR DAQ-M - Modular Bluetooth Spectroradiometer

The DAQ-M is a versatile modular spectroradiometer equipped for field and laboratory applications, providing precise spectral measurements of ambient light from 340 to 1010 nm. It features a built-in rechargeable Li-ion battery, internal memory for up to 8,192 measurements, and Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) for efficient power usage and convenient wireless data transfer. The DAQ-M is a modular spectroradiometer containing a long lasting battery, internal memory storage and a Bluetooth (BLE) radio for communication. The integrated, cosine-corrected spectroradiometer records the changing ambient light spectrum (340 - 1010 nm) in irradiance (W/m2·nm) as often as 1Hz. DAQ-M also contains a USB port for recharging its removable Li-ion battery, a green/red LED status indicator and a power on/off switch.

Using our MAPIR SCANNER application on your mobile device you can connect to any nearby DAQ-M. The SCANNER application allows you to assign unique names to each DAQ-M, adjust the sensor settings, view measurements in real time, record individual measurements, schedule time-lapse/interval measurements and save measurements to your mobile device for later processing.

  • Research-grade spectrometer with absolute power calibration (W/m²·nm)

  • Two main measurement modes:

    • Irradiance = records changes in the ambient light spectrum, used to produce multispectral reflectance images in MCC.

    • Reflectance = records irradiance measurements of MAPIR reference targets and objects of interest, used to develop object reflectance library in MCC.

  • Using the free MAPIR SCANNER mobile application you can assign unique names to each DAQ-M, adjust the sensor settings, view measurements in real time, record individual measurements, schedule time-lapse/interval measurements and save measurements to your mobile device for later processing.

  • With a large spectrum coverage (340 - 1010 nm) you only need one DAQ-M to support calibrating every model of Survey3 camera we offer (RGN, OCN, NGB, RE, NIR). A single log file can correct any number of Survey3 cameras.
