Marel - Internal Rotary Screen

The screen type is an internal fed rotating drum screen. The screening area is located on the inner side of the screen. The liquid flows through an inlet from the inside out, whereby separation takes place. The filtered liquid is collected in a trough and flows through the drain flange. The separated solids remain on the inside and with the help of a helix is this transported to the discharge chute. During transport, the solids are further dewatered.
