Mecanex - Model MEX-MV253 -Vertical Multistage Centrifugal Pumps
The MEX-MV253 pumps are diagonal, multi-storey, vertical type, coupled with electric motors located at the top of the aggregates. These pumps are made up of removable sub-assemblies for ease of transport and installation in pumping stations, given their relatively large dimensions and weights.
The hydraulic subassembly (pumping subassembly) is made of cast iron, the rotor is of closed construction, the shaft is guided in sliding bearings, and the bearings are lubricated with the circulated liquid.
Depending on the delivery length, the pumping subassembly can be connected directly to the pump`s discharge support or through intermediate supporting elements (sections) and transmission (intermediate shafts).
The intermediate shafts are guided radially by intermediate bearings, their coupling being made by fixed sleeve-type couplings, removable.
