Medium-density bare pigs are engineered from medium density foam, offering unique versatility with a polyurethane elastomer base coating. Primarily utilized for pipeline applications, these pigs excel in drying operations and sweeping loose debris from pipelines. Additionally, they serve as a gauging tool to assess internal pipeline conditions ahead of intensive pigging activities. They can be employed as a sealing pig when another pig becomes immobile, or for batching and product displacement under conditions of low volume and pressure. Customization options include variations like double-dish, double-nose shapes, and the integration of pulling ropes or cables. They may be outfitted with transmitter or pinger cavities, jetting bypass ports, or magnets. The capability to adjust their diameter and length allows for tailored solutions to meet specific pigging requirements.
