Reverse osmosis (RO) membranes remove a large majority of contaminants from water, including even the smallest monovalent ions. RO is capable of rejecting over 99% of dissolved salts (ions), particles, organics, and more from the feed water. The MICRODYN RO series of brackish water RO membranes is ideal for water purification applications. These elements feature our best membranes for updating an RO system and offer very high solute rejection. In addition, MICRODYN RO has a line of seawater membranes to handle all your desalination needs.

MICRODYN RO elements are available in standard 4” and 8” spiral-wound designs to meet all of your new equipment and drop-in replacement needs. MICRODYN RO elements are made with a high rejection brackish water (BW) RO membrane; a low energy (LE) or extra low energy (XLE) RO membrane; a fouling resistant (FR) RO membrane; or a seawater high rejection (SWH) or low energy (SWL) RO membrane. With permeate tubes sized to match standard designs and 440, 400, and 365 ft² of membrane area options available in the 8” design, MICRODYN RO and NF elements make it easy to replace competitive elements.
