MANN+HUMMEL Water & Fluid Solutions (previously MICRODYN-NADIR) products
SpiraSep & iSep - Ultrafiltration Membranes For Water & Wastewater Treatment
Sustainable fresh water supplies are diminishing at an unprecedented rate due to increasing populations, agricultural use, and rising industrial demand. Wastewater recycling using ultrafiltration (UF) membranes has become a new and viable water source. Ultrafiltration provides safe, reliable, and high quality effluent that can be used for a multitude of water reuse applications. The utilization of new water sources is also realized due to the high level of pre-treatment ultrafiltration is able to provide for reverse osmosis (RO) systems.
TriSep TurboClean - Sanitary Elements
TriSep offers the industry`s strongest sanitary membrane element with our patented TurboClean® shell. Available with all TriSep™ membrane types (RO, NF, UF and MF), these elements feature a ridged, precision-made polypropylene shell with superior hydrodynamics and tougher construction than traditional net or cage-wrapped products. Designed to provide superior performance and built to last, TurboClean® sanitary elements are ideally suited for ultra-clean operation in biologically sensitive applications as well as challenging process environments.
TriSep - Specialty Membrane Element
TriSep offers a broad array of spiral wound membrane products. With one of the broadest selections of of RO, NF, UF, and MF membrane chemistries, TriSep can deliver a product for your specific requirement. In addition, TriSep offers several construction varieties including sanitary TurboClean, high pressure, high temperature, and different thickness feed spacers. Elements can be custom engineered to meet specific application requirements.
iSep - Ultrafiltration Membrane Elements
iSep (Integrated SpiraSep Membrane Module) is the latest evolution in SpiraSep UF membrane technology aimed at lowering overall cost of ownership for water and wastewater applications. The UF market has multiple membrane formats with each design configuration utilizing different anti-fouling characteristics. TriSep engineers saw an opportunity to develop a UF format unlike any other on the market by incorporating the different features and benefits of commercially available UF/MF membranes into a single format.
SpiraSep - Ultrafiltration Membrane Elements
SpiraSep UF elements are used in conventional submerged membrane systems for water and wastewater applications. Conventional submerged membrane systems operate in a “feed and bleed” mode, where feed water is continuously delivered to the membrane tank while a concentrated reject stream is removed from the process. Air scouring and backwashing are used to clean the membranes while maintaining system performance. SpiraSep UF modules allow wastewater treatment plant (WWTP) to utilize existing basins or tanks, such as clarifiers or chlorine contact basins, to upgrade their existing facilities to UF filtration without having to build additional infrastructure.
Reverse Osmosis Membranes
TriSep - Low Fouling Membrane
TriSep X20 elements are manufactured with a unique polyamide-urea membrane. This membrane chemistry has anti-fouling properties which are inherent to the barrier layer and will not wash out over time like many surface coated membranes.
TriSep - Brackish Water RO Membranes
TriSep high rejection Advanced Composite Membrane (ACM) elements deliver a combination of high flux and durability. These products are our most popular for brackish water purification when the highest quality permeate is required.
TriSep SB - Cellulose Acetate Blend Membrane
TriSep SB Cellulose Acetate Membranes offer a good combination of rejection, fouling resistance, and chlorine tolerance. The combination of high chlorine tolerance and smooth surface morphology makes these membranes a perfect fit for applications where biofouling is an issue. TriSep offers SB series membranes in a wide variety of sizes and tube dimensions to replace nearly all manufacturers’ CA elements.
Nanofiltration Membranes
TriSep - Polyamide Nanofiltration Membrane
TriSep TS80 Membrane is a polyamide nanofiltration membrane with a nominal monovalent ion rejection of 80-90% and >99% rejection of divalent and polyvalent ions. As a result TS80 is considered a “softening” membrane with a typical feed pressure of about 100 psi. TS80 has a molecular weight cut-off between 100-200 Daltons, enabling it to also have high rejection of uncharged organic solutes.
TriSep - Membrane Elements
TriSep TS40 Membranes are primarily used in food & dairy and other process applications to separate, purify and desalt organic solutes. TS40 is a piperazine-based nanofiltration membrane with a molecular weight cut-off between 200-300 Daltons. Typical applications include demineralization of whey or lactose, sugar concentration, or separation and UF permeate desalting.
