Windows CE based Handheld Panels for mobile HMI close to the machine with combined key and touch operation available in three variants for use in PROFIBUS environment and corresponding variants with PROFINET connection. SIMATIC Mobile Panels are compact, ergonomically designed, while at the same time being rugged enough for industrial use. They are operated by means of touch screens and membrane keyboards. Additional operating elements increase user-friendliness and permit direct access to the distributed IO. As part of the sophisticated safety concept, the STOP pushbutton can be used for stopping the machine in critical situations.
