Model ARMADoc Series (PE Series) -High Density Polyethylene (HDPE) Coated Ductile Iron Pipes

PE coating applied in factory for external corrosion protection of ductile iron pipes conforming to EN 545, EN 598, ISO 2531 and ISO 7186 consists of two layers:

• An adhesive layer
• The second layer applied as the top coat by wrapping the extruded PE material as a flat tape immediately after the application of the adhesive.

Protection of ductile iron pipes is completely ensured not only against high corrosive soils, but also against damages that may occur during lifting and transportation, due to the thickness of the polyethylene coating. Minimum coating thickness of PE series pipes is much more than other (bitumen, epoxy, polyurethane, etc.) coating types.

• Designed for usage in very high corrosive soils.
• According to the customer`s request: without zinc plating, applied by extruding high density polyethylene (HDPE) coating material on the pipes coated with minimum 200 g/m² zinc or minimum 400 g/m² zinc alloy.
