1972

Establishment of IUPS

In October 1972 was established the factory for equipment and spare parts, as IUPS. It started producing looms parts, for the light industry.

1975 – IUPS

In 1975, to the original profile is added the manufacturing: plastic production equipment (6.3tf ÷ 65tf presses) and mechanical scissors for cutting profiles (FP14).

1979

ONGOING DEVELOPMENT

In 1979 the company starts the production of pumps; this activity has continuously developed, laying the foundation of a strong foundry.

1985

PRODUCTION OF PUMPS

In 1985, it ceases the manufacture of textile machines, basic production becoming the pumps, but is still fabricating machinery plastic deformation, FP14, FP12 and various spare parts.

1990
MECANEX
Since establishment, MECANEX SA has had the technology needed to produce and perform a wide range of equipment and units, cast and machined, with applications in different fields.

2001

IT BECAME A PRIVATE – COMPANY

Mecanex was privatized in April 2001, starting off with a comprehensive process of reorganization and modernization, which has as main objective the increasing flexibility of production, quality and widening the range of manufactured products by adapting to the ever changing market.

2010

EXPANDING BORDERS

In the last few years, our company has managed to enter in the EU market and to distribute products to companies from countries like Austria, Germany and Italy.

2014

CONTINUOUS IMPROVEMENT

Since November 2014 MECANEX started to invest so that to increase the pouring capabilities – we increased the first furnace capacity from 800 Kg. to 1200 Kg. Also we invested in a brand new Laempe LL10 automatic core shooter that increases our capabilities for core production and a better quality of the products.
