Model HI 2201LT -Weight Transmitter
The Hardy HI 2201LT comes sealed and potted to withstand typical industrial environments It has a course zero offset adjustment to remove dead load, a fine zero adjustment to compensate for small differences between load cells/ points, and a span adjustment to set the operating range for the “live load.”
The transmitter produces a current limited, 5 VDC excitation voltage which powers the load cell/point momentarily at the rate of about 90 times per second and converts the signal read into a 4-20 mA output. The transmitter is used primarily in level by weight and force measurement applications.
The HI 2201LT system may be calibrated with a “live load” (product weight) as small as 35% of load cell capacity when one 2mV/V, 350-ohm load cell/point is used. A full 4-20 mA output may be achieved using four 3mV/V, 350 ohm load cells/points when the “live load” exceeds 65 % of the total system load cell capacity.
The transmitter is available mounted in either an optional NEMA 4 rated painted steel (-A3) or NEMA 4X rated stainless steel (-A5) summing junction box for multiple load cell systems.
The Hardy HI 2200LT Series Loop Power Level Weight Transmitters are state-of-the-art bridge input two wire transmitters for strain gages, load cells and load points. The low cost Loop Power Level Weight Transmitters are used for level-by-weight and force measurement applications.
Both units come sealed and potted to withstand typical industrial environments. They have a coarse zero offset adjustment to remove deadload, a fine zero adjustment to compensate for small differences between load cells/points, and a span adjustment to set the operating range for the "liveload". The transmitters power the load cells/points momentarily at the rate of about 90 times per second and convert the signal read into a 4-20 ma output.
The HI 2200LT Series is available for stand alone mounting or can be ordered from the factory in a NEMA 4X stainless steel or a NEMA 4 steel enclosure both with a multi-load cell (up to 4) summing card.
HI 2201LT Loop Powered Level Weight Transmitters for Hazardous Areas
The HI 2201LT is designed for use in hazardous environments where FM approval is required. It produces a current limited, 5 VDC excitation voltage. No intrinsic barriers are required between the transmitter and the load cells/points.
The HI 2201LT system may be calibrated with a "liveload" (product weight) as small as 35% of the load cell capacity when one 2 mV/V, 350 ohm load cell/point is used. A full 4-20 ma output may be acheived using four 3 mV/V, 350 ohm load cells/points when "liveload" exceeds 65% of total system load cell capacity.
