Hardy`s Dynamic Series of checkweighing machinery is built using off-the shelf components, with controls based on a Rockwell Automation`s Logix platform, providing a standardized open source architecture that is flexible enough to meet both current and future control needs. Weight processing is managed by Hardy’s HI 4050CW weight controller. Sampling weight data at 4,800 times per second, the HI4050CW is capable of providing enough weighments to accurately categorize packages weighing from 5g to 225kg at speeds up to 350 packs per minute.

The high speed HI 4050CW check weighing system can process up to 250 high resolution (1:30:000) weight measurements per second. The 4050CW consists of a special version of the HI 4050 weight controller connected to up to four analog load cells and a Hardy junction box. The HI 4050CW is perfect for building new systems for either static or dynamic check weighing or retrofitting the weight electronics of older, less reliable systems. The 4050CW breaks the traditional analog strain gauge “speed barrier”, without the cost of MFR (Magnetic Force Restoration or other similar high speed/resolution technologies) yet it still delivers accuracies of up to 0.01% of full sensor capacity.

Hardy HI 1769-WS and -2WS are single channel PLC-style weigh scale  modules for use with the Allen-Bradley MicroLogix 1500 and CompactLogix controllers.

The HI 1769-FC Feeder Control module automatically calculates and adjusts tuning parameters typically required to maintain desired flow rates in a dispensing or filling system. It is a microprocessor-based CompactLogix and MicroLogix 1500 plug-in module used with the PLCs Rack I/O in a variety of material-flow applications, such as auger, belt, and vibration-based feeders. It can be operated in batch, automatic, or manual mode.

The HI 1746-WS Weigh Scale Module is a self-contained microprocessor-based I/O module with control inputs and outputs.  The HI 1746-WS is designed to be easily plugged into the back plane of an Allen-Bradley SLC 5/02, 5/03, 5/04 or 5/05 programmable controller. The HI 1746-WS supports  a wide variety of process weighing applications such as batching/blending, filling/dispensing, check weighing, force measurement, level by weight and weight rate monitoring.

Hardy’s HI 1756-WS is a single slot, single scale, weigh scale module that mounts in an Allen-Bradley ControlLogix® local or remote Chassis. It reads weight and diagnostic data from strain gauge load sensors or load cells and communicates this data over the I/O chassis Backplane to the ControlLogix Processor. The HI 1756-WS module reduces installation costs, since no external stand-alone scale instrument with a wired communications link to the PLC is needed.

Hardy’s HI 1756-2WS is a single slot, dual scale, weigh scale module that mounts in an Allen-Bradley ControlLogix local or remote Chassis. It reads weight and diagnostic data from two separate sets of strain gauge load sensors or load cells and communicates this data over the I/O chassis backplane to the ControlLogix Processor. The HI 1756-2WS module reduces installation costs, since no external stand-alone scale instrument with a wired communications link to the PLC is needed.

Used in new applications, or to retrofit volumetric feeders or replace outdated controllers in gravimetric systems, the singlescale HI 1756-FC weigh feeder control module mounts directly into your Allen-Bradley ControlLogix chassis. By using the PLC rack I/O, it can control many feeding devices, such as auger, vibratory and belt-based feeders, as well as your proprietary designs.

The only weigh scale module specifically designed to work directly with Allen-Bradley Series 5 PLCs. Hardy Instruments" HI 1771-WS Weigh Scale Module, Series B reads weight data from strain gauge load sensors or load cells. It then conditions and digitizes this data 20 times per second with over one million counts of resolution over a differential signal range of 0 - 30mV. Next it transmits (block-transfers) the selectable Net, Gross, Tare and Rate-Of-Change data and status values over the back plane to the processor. This module can be used in Allen-Bradley"s 1771-A1B, A2B, A3B, A3B1, A4B, -AM1, and -AM2 chassis.

Hardy"s HI 200DNWM is the first general purpose weigh module designed specifically to the DeviceNet open network standard, and the first to pass conformance testing at one of ODVA"s independent laboratories. This instrument provides power for up to four, 350 ohm, standard strain gauge load cells, load sensors and load points.
