Model Q-800 - Portable Shearography System
The Q-800 Portable Shearography System is a fully compact and robust measurement system used for quality control, Non- Destructive Testing (NDT) of advanced non-homogenous materials. Consisting of a high-resolution CCD camera built into a miniaturized shearographic interferometer with automatic controllable shearing optics (no manual shearing adjustment required), the Q-800 Shearography Sensor is the lightest and smallest of its kind. The integrated light array source provided through adjustable laser diode modules gives users full control over illumination optimization.
Capable of measuring areas of up to 1100mm x 1100mm / 43.3” x 43.3” (with 8 laser diodes), the Q-800 can conduct rapid measurements of up to 15 seconds (depending on loading rate). Whether manually controlled or automatically programmed, the system allows users complete oversight over test measurement operation procedures. Users gain consistent and unprecedented imaging performance with the ability to generate reliable, quality control procedures applicable for all quality-orientated industries. Q-800/Q-810 Automatic Recording Procedure
For repetitive and standardized procedures, Istra 4D offers users the potential to create, record and edit test measurement procedures. When conducting a test measurement to record, users can either record an active manual test measurement procedure, or directly edit a previously saved test measurement procedure with the easy-to-use Recording Procedure Editor. Users have ultimate control and overview of an entire procedure from start to finish. Both camera and heat switches can be activated independently, set in unison or even synchronised for dynamic loading. With just a right-click on either timeline, components can be inserted, moved or edited including: reference images, snapshots, view mode changes or even multi-sync heat control (for activation devices with 2 or more heat lamps).
- Calibrating projection for the Q-800 can be done instantly with one click-of-a-button. Within 5 seconds, 2 laser pointers quickly synchronize and calibrate projection in unit distance.
- Shear settings for the Q-800 can be automatically controlled by simply sliding a cursor. Save time re-calibrating shear settings and manually adjusting dials.
- Illumination can quickly be optimised through the advanced ‘Auto Shutter Time Finder’. This feature is required for quick brightness setup when changing test measurement conditions.
- Refresh, save, reference and compare measurements. The ability to take clean and refreshed reference images allows for optimum comparison before and after test measurement loading. Gain the optimum comparative results for highest quality and clarity test measurements.
