Model Series 518 -Electro Lifting Magnet

Type 518 Electro-Lifting-Magnet 518 are used in both handling and heavy-duty applications. They are used for handling and transporting all kinds of steel products. The magnetic field is generated by the DC excitation winding. The coil encloses an iron core, which is connected to the yoke and leg. This creates a north and south pole. The magnet body is made of special steel with high magnetic conductivity. The coil chamber can be protected with a pole plate for rough applications. The winding is made of highly insulated copper or aluminium wire and is cast into the solenoid housing, completely protected against vibration and moisture. The electrical connection on the back of the solenoid is protected against damage by a solid steel protective cover.
