Model SMP -Permanent Magnetic Plate

The separators with permanent magnets have a magnetic circuit composed with low carbon steel and with a group of permanent magnets with high induction and coercive force, which obtain a great depth of field.
The part in contact with the flow of material, said active face, is non-magnetic and wear-resistant steel.
These components usually have a wide use compared to other separation methods, as they have a very broad spectrum of solutions at relatively low cost.
In many areas and working conditions, the permanent magnet version is more convenient for the following advantages:

• High energy savings since the permanent magnet does not require power;
• Continuous Magnetic Performance over time, as it does not have heating due to the Joule effect.

Gauss magnets produces SMP using ferrite or rare earths magnets.
To work with greater work distances, the choice falls on permanent magnets in rare earths, which generate a more powerful field.
The same is true if small plates need to be used: for equal power, ferrite plates are larger and bulky than those in rare earths.
