The Eddy Current Separators ECS are widely used in the field of recycling glass, wood, waste, plastic, etc., thanks to their effectiveness in separating non-ferrous metals and alloys from inert material.

In order to meet the growing demands of the market and improve the quality of the separated material, Gauss Magneti has introduced in its production the eccentric eddy current separator ECSE. The eddy current separators ECSE are machines employed for the separation of non-ferrous material especially of small dimensions (aluminum, copper, etc.), from the inert material (glass, plastic, wood, etc.).

In the field of the materials recycling, such as wood, plastic, glass, metals and non-ferrous, etc., in the plants for recovery of waste and scrap, as in the MSW selection plants and WEEE, in those of inert crushing or minerals grinding, the overbelt separators (SM) find a large use for the extraction and recovery of ferromagnetic intrusions, present in the inert process material.

The static separators are iron removers, adopted as protection components in order to extract the ferromagnetic intrusions from the process material, where there is not high frequency of ferrous material to be extracted.

Magnetic Drums are widely adopted in the metal recycling plants, WEEE, in the treatment and recovery of waste, slag, ores; wood, glass etc. for the recovery of ferromagnetic intrusion of small, medium and large sizes from inert and non-ferrous materials, but they are also used for the protection of installations where the presence of ferromagnetic intrusions will cause damages. The drums are essentially constituted by an adjustable magnetic assembly, which extends over 180 °, placed inside a casing of non-magnetic steel, rotating on the axis of the drum.

The main application is to recover / separate the ferrous material from a flow of granular material - such as chips or flakes - in which the process material, before feeding the magnetic drum, is distributed and widened by a vibrating feeder over the entire active width of the magnetic drum to ensure maximum separation efficiency.
