Model SNCR - Selective Non-Catalytic Reduction
The classic technology for the reduction of NOx emissions is applied within the temperature range of 900°C to 1050°C of the flue gas. Dual compound lances are used to inject aqueous ammonia or urea solution within the ideal flue gas temperature window reducing NOx emissions. The reactant volume is adapted to the load condition and continuously regulated by the mixing and metering module. The processing of the reactant handling systems (e.g. pump groups, storage tanks, metering and dosing equipment, etc) is designed by M.A.L according to client’s specifications.
System Benefits:
- reduction of the NOx emissions
- adequate NH3 slip
- optimized NOx emission regulation (NOx Cruise Control)
- comparatively low investment costs
- simple plant technology – high availability
- easy retrofitting
- turnkey systems
Industrial Application:
- coal-fired power stations
- waste incineration
- cement works
- ceramic industry
- glass industry
