Model SPR Series of 26Ghz -Pulse Radar Level Transmitters
The SPR Radar Series features 26 GHz High Frequency Pulse Radar, which has a narrower beam angle than other types of radar instruments. The shorter wavelength at higher frequencies produce a sharper focus on the targeted level and thus, precise readings.
The SPR Pulse Radar series includes 6 different models. Each model is designed to attend to either liquids or solids, shorter or larger measuring ranges, ambient or high temperatures or pressure ranges, hazardous or general areas, dusty or vaporous environments or even applications requiring IP68 class protection. A small antenna size, minimal or zero blank zone (SPR61), and various process connection and detection components including threaded or flanged connections, cone types and dust protection, all ensure that the SPR series can be used under various process conditions and requirements.
All models are equipped with an advanced microprocessor and unique Echo Discovery processing technology. A False Echo storage function enables the instrument to detect the true echo, even with the presence of multiple false echoes (due to internal obstructions within the vessel), so that it generates accurate level measurements consistently and reliably.
Benefits:
- Radar provides a non-contact sensor that is virtually unaffected by changes in process temperature, pressure or the gas and vapor composition within a vessel.
- The measurement accuracy is unaffected by changes in density, conductivity and dielectric constant of the product being measured or by air movement above the product.
- The echoes derived from pulse radar are discrete and separated in time. This means that pulse radar is better equipped to handle multiple echoes and false echoes that are common in process vessels and solids silos.
