Sitron introduced our first Thermal Dispersion Flow Switch in 1995.  Thermal Dispersion technology provides liquid and gas flow detection with no moving parts and a much greater working life-span when compared to other technologies.  While our original flow switch has been updated and improved upon over the years, one thing has not changed; the CF12 series continues to offer maintenance free reliability for most liquid flow or gas flow applications at a very reasonable price.

Sitron’s Thermal Dispersion Flow Transmitters provides liquid flow monitoring and control with no moving parts.  All models offer the user the ability to easily set the “zero” and “span” of the flow range so that the 4…20mA analog output corresponds to their application requirements.  This technology is often an ideal solution when the user needs to approximate flow rates but does not want to invest in higher cost flow meter technologies.

Sitron VTK series of vibrating tuning forks are an ideal solution for many point level detection applications because they are un-affected by either the dielectric or the conductivity of the medium.  When the tuning fork is submerged in the medium the frequency at which at which it vibrates changes.  This change is detected by the unit’s electronics and is converted into a switch output, either relay (SPDT) or PNP/NPN (depending on the model).  Users around the world have come to depend on this technology as one that is easy to apply and very reliable.

Sitron’s Conductive Level Switches control the level of conductive liquids.  With no moving parts, the probes do not require constant maintenance and are extremely reliable as well as highly configurable for specific application requirements.

The SC750, SC200, SC600 and SC400 Capacitive Level Switches are designed to detect and control the level of conductive and non-conductive liquids, solids, pasty mediums and corrosive liquids among others. The SC750 and SC200 are usually applied in applications with ambient pressure and temperature ranges.  They work well for liquids or solids with a low or high dielectric and are also ideally applied in corrosive mediums as they can be configured entirely in plastic. The SC600 is an ultra-compact 316SS capacitive level switch with no housing, yet it comes with a built-in SPST relay mounted within the small body of the unit. The SC400 with LV400 relay controller features a more robust wetted part that is well suited for high pressure and high temperature application requirements.

The SPR Radar Series features 26 GHz High Frequency Pulse Radar, which has a narrower beam angle than other types of radar instruments.  The shorter wavelength at higher frequencies produce a sharper focus on the targeted level and thus, precise readings.

The SLU series of compact ultrasonic sensors includes 3 different models for 4m/8m/15m measuring ranges.  All models features patented sonic matching technology, which helps strengthen the emission power and enhance the signal intensity.  By using sophisticated reflection processing software, the SLU series is able to calculate the level of the medium or the volume of flow in Parshall flumes and provides reliable, accurate and repeatable level measurement every time.

Sitron’s Capacitive Level Probes are primarily used to measure and control the level in various industrial processes. They can be applied in conductive or non-conductive mediums such as water, oil, solids, pastes, chemicals and other mediums as well. In addition, probes can be used to detect the interfaces between liquid (water / oil).   Like all of Sitron’s products the Capacitive Probes can be made with a variety of connections such as threaded flange or sanitary.

The SP Series of pressure transmitters are designed for pressure measurement for liquids and gases across a wide range of industrial processes.  Each model provides excellent stability, repeatability and accuracy, with both temperature and atmospheric compensation. Output options include 4-20mA, 1-5volts, 1-10volts and HART communication protocol.

The STD Series of digital pressure transmitters are designed for pressure measurement for liquids and gases across a wide range of industrial processes.  Each model features a rotatable 5 digit LCD display that permits the user to visualize the variation of either the level or the pressure of the process by value, percentage or a real time graph.  The STD series provides a 4…20mA analog signal with superimposed HART communications protocol, programmable Zero/Span adjustment, decimal point, damping and display mode parameters via three programmable buttons.
